Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do I need to audition to be a part of any of the programs or can I just register?
A. We do require an audition for all of our programs as we believe auditioning is an integral part of the learning experience. For both of our Workshops, you will need to audition for the program but we strive to find ways to include as many performers as possible and work very hard NOT to turn people away. Our Full Production is fully audition-based because our needs and scheduling for this production are more specific.
However, if you are interested in working behind the scenes (rather than onstage), we do have a select number of spots available in our workshop programs for this very purpose. Email us at to find out if this might be a good option for you!
Q. I really want to participate but am concerned about the finances. Do you offer any sort of payment plan or scholarship opportunities?
A. Yes, we do! Please reach out to us at to discuss some ways to offset the program costs or schedule payments to suit your needs.
Q. Will I get to know my role before committing to the program?
A. For both of our Workshops, you will first find out if you have been accepted into the program. Role placement will be determined and shared once everyone has registered. If you have specific needs in terms of casting, you will have the opportunity to let us know about this at auditions but generally speaking, we encourage you to be open to all opportunities for these programs as they are meant to be a learning experience!
For our Full Production, role placement will be announced shortly after auditions. We do ask that you be upfront with us about which roles you will accept at auditions so that we can make informed decisions. . Honesty is the best policy!
Q. I am not sure I want to be onstage this summer but really like working on costumes/set/props/other aspects of production? Is there a place for me? OR My child is interested in getting involved onstage, are there ways in which I can help behind the scenes?
A. Absolutely! We are always looking for help with all aspects of production (from all ages!), especially with this many productions running at the same time! Feel free to email us for more information:
We are also thrilled to offer a select number of technical positions as a part of our workshop programs. Email us at if you are interested in being a part of the program but don't want to be onstage!
