AUDITIONS
Auditions for ALL Summer Shows will be held on Tuesday, May 9, Thursday, May 11, and Sunday, May 14
with callbacks by invitation on May 15-21.
All auditions and callbacks will be held at JCC Metrowest (760 Northfield Ave, West Orange, NJ)

Tuesday, May 9
6:00-7:00 – Ages 5-11
7:00-8:30 – Ages 12+
Thursday, May 11
6:00-7:00 – Ages 5-11
7:00-8:30 – Ages 12+
Sunday, May 14
10:00-11:00 – Ages 5-11
11:00-12:30 – Ages 12+
***If you are unavailable to attend auditions in person, we are happy to accept a video submission. Video submissions are due at 1:00pm on 5/14.

WHAT TO PREPARE
For ages 5-11
You will sign up for a 30 minute slot on any of the three days.
On your audition form, you will be able to let us know which show(s) you are interested in being considered for.
1. Prepare one of the two song options in the folder below. We strongly recommend memorizing if you can but holding a paper is okay if needed. We will be using the accompaniment track only at auditions but have provided a guide track to help you learn the material!
2. Become familiar with the audition side. You do not need to memorize and we will have printouts available at the audition. Newer readers can focus on the “Anita” lines.
3. We will be teaching a short dance combination during the audition. You do not need to prepare anything for this but make sure to wear clothes and shoes you can move in!
Each group will be in the audition room for approximately 30 minutes.
For ages 12+
You will sign up for a 15 minute slot on any of the three days.
On your audition form, you will be able to let us know which show(s) you are interested in being considered for.
1. Prepare one of the songs in the folder below OR a prepare a brief song (1 minute or less) of your choosing and bring clearly marked sheet music for the accompanist. Please choose whatever song best represents you regardless of what show it is from or what role typically sings it!
2. We will be having a separate dance call by invitation on Sunday, May 14. You do not need to prepare anything for this but make sure to wear clothes and shoes that you can move in!
Performers will audition individually.
Auditioners may be invited to the dance call on Sunday, May 14. If we would like to see you for the dance call, you will be notified shortly after your audition (via email).
Performers may be invited to callbacks the week of 5/15.
Callback information will be provided ASAP after our final auditions on Sunday, 5/14.
