Private Coachings

Schedule private coachings with Broadway’s Adam Rothenberg and Zachary Noah Piser this spring!

VOCAL: Work one-on-one with Adam to polish and perfect your performance of musical theater, classical, or pop repertoire. These sessions will address basic vocal technique and emphasize musical interpretation, stylistic execution, and finding the perfect audition cut of your material.

 

ACTING: Work one-on-one with Zach to learn and finesse the art of storytelling, either through song or monologue. Whether we are working on a full piece or an audition cut, these sessions will address the ins and outs of character building, material preparation, and performance execution. 

 

Schedule: 

Coachings will be available with each teacher on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays the following weeks. You may schedule for as many or as few weeks as you’d like!

 

WEEK ONE: 4/15-4/17
WEEK TWO: 4/29-5/1
WEEK THREE: 5/13-5/15
WEEK FOUR: 5/27-5/29
WEEK FIVE: 6/10-6/12

ADAM ROTHENBERG is a conductor, pianist, and music director based in New York City. He is currently the Assistant Conductor of the Broadway revival of Company, having recently returned from the national tour of Miss Saigon. Other theater credits include Chicago, Miss Saigon (Broadway), Sweeney Todd (off-Broadway), and West Side Story (Philadelphia Orchestra). As a classical pianist, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Tanglewood Music Center, and Lincoln Center with the New York Philharmonic. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Northwestern University and a Master of Music from the Juilliard School.

ZACHARY NOAH PISER is currently the Evan Hansen alternate on Broadway (performing Wednesday and Saturday matinees), after originating Dear Evan Hansen’s premiere international production in Toronto. Other Broadway: Wicked (Boq). Off-Broadway: Barrow Street Theatre’s West End transfer of Sweeney Todd (Tobias), Mad Libs Live. Favorite Regional: The Heart of Rock & Roll (The Old Globe, world premiere), Godspell (Marriott Theatre). He is a Bay Area native and Northwestern grad! @zach_piser

LINDSAY MARON is founder and artistic director of Pixie Dust Players. She has directed/choreographed over 50 productions since 2008. She had the honor and privilege of adapting Children of Eden into a junior version for Stephen Schwartz and Music Theatre International, which is now a licensable title.  Lindsay has also worked directly with Music Theatre International, iTheatrics, and several playwrights, composers and lyricists on adapting new titles and workshopping over a dozen new productions. In addition to her work with Pixie Dust Players, Lindsay recently began working as the director and choreographer of the Millburn High School musicals (where she went to school years ago!) As a performer, Lindsay has most recently been seen as Natalie in Next to Normal (Hamilton Stage), Sophie in Mamma Mia (Cranford Dramatic Club, Villagers Theatre), and Maggie in A Chorus Line (Algonquin Arts Theatre). Graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Theatre,  a minor in Psychology, and a certificate in Musical Theatre.

GEOFFREY KO is a New York based music director, orchestrator, and arranger. Broadway: Be More Chill (Associate MD/Conductor). Off-Broadway/Regional include: Broadway Bounty Hunter, Other World (Bucks County Playhouse), Billy and the Killers, Generation Me, Renascence, Love in Hate Nation (Two River), The Honeymooners (Paper Mill Playhouse), and October Sky (Marriott Lincolnshire). Other NYC work includes: Hear Her Song, The Remarkable Journey to Tianguo, Naamah’s Ark, Little Dancer, Becoming Nancy, The Town Hall, and orchestrations for Symphony Space and The American Pops Orchestra. Projects in development include Punk Rock Girl (The Argyle Theatre), Into The Black, and Pop Goes The World. Born and raised in Jersey. CRYSTAL RENEE WRIGHT is a rising senior in the BFA Musical Theatre Program at Montclair State University. She has performed in many productions, including many new works and pilots in which she was a part of the original cast.  Most recently she has spearheaded a small but mighty organization that celebrates and advocates for racial diversity in the theatre space called “Live in Living Color."
