Mean Girls, JR (Pilot Production!)
for ages 12-18
Director/Choreographer: Lindsay Maron
Music Director: Adam Rothenberg
Associate Music Director: Patrick Phillips
Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady devises a plan to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a Queen Bee without getting stung.
For this production, we are seeking talented singers, dancers, and actors

What is a pilot production?
We are working with Music Theatre International and iTheatrics to help them to develop this new adaptation. This means that we will be one of the first companies in the country to produce this show and it means our actors will be some of the first to play these roles! The show itself may be changed/adjusted throughout the process and our production will help inform the final licensed version. The show (either in its live form or through our archival video) will be viewed by MTI/iTheatrics executives as well as the rights holders.

AUDITION INFORMATION
For your video submission, please select one of the following songs.
We have included both a guide track (to help you learn it) and an accompaniment track.
Please make sure to use the ACCOMPANIMENT track for your video.
When filming, please set up your camera (a phone works great!) horizontally so that we can see you from the waist up. Try and find somewhere with a neutral background and good lighting (no windows behind you or to the side of you).
Once you have a recording that you are happy with, please upload it to Youtube and mark the visibility as "Unlisted" (make sure NOT to set your video to "Private") and copy the link on to your Audition Form.
